Snelstart API provides REST-based accounting and bookkeeping integration for Dutch SMEs, freelancers, and accountants with API key authentication.

The API covers 80 endpoints enabling comprehensive access to financial data, customers, orders, invoices, ledger accounts, and VAT management including One-Stop-Shop (OSS) support for EU VAT declarations. Auto-generated documentation with code examples in multiple languages and interactive API console for direct testing in Developer Portal.

Certification process required for production access with free temporary accounts available for development. Official SDKs available for C# and JavaScript with third-party PHP libraries. Direct API connection ensures fast and secure data transfer without external middleware.
